Financial and Tax Accountant (m/f).


Your role

  • We are looking for a Financial and Tax Accountant to operate the financial activities of the group companies. Day-to-day responsibilities for our vacant position include:
  • ·         Operational management of financial activities (recording daily bookkeeping data and preparing relevant accounting documents)
  • ·         Preparation of trial balance and general ledger on a quarterly basis (IFRS and LUX GAAP)
  • ·         Preparation and filing of the statutory annual accounts (in accordance with LUX GAAP)
  • ·         Preparation of the local tax returns, computations, appendices and appropriate supporting schedules for CIT, MBT and NWT
  • ·         Preparation and filing of the annual and periodic VAT returns
  • ·         Review the IFRS reporting package on consolidated and company level
  • ·         Support of regular audits on group and company level
  • ·         Support Tax and Finance DD within transactions
  • ·         Support and set up “ad-hoc” financial projects
  • ·         Assist in day-to-day operations of the Fund Management



Your profile

  • ·         Accounting or Finance Degree
  • ·         At least 3 years working experience acquired in a similar environment
  • ·         Experience in IFRS and LUX GAAP, German GAAP would be a plus
  • ·         Fluent in German and English, French would be considered as an asset
  • ·         Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (focus on MS Excel)
  • ·         Strong analytical skills
  • ·         High attention to details and ability to multi-task
  • ·         Proactive with organizational and time management skills and the ability to consistently deliver a high quality work
  • ·         Autonomous and self-starting person who can work both on her/his own initiative and within a team
